Happy Friday, crafters!! Miss Ink Stamps has a new release dropping tomorrow and I have a sneak peek of the new Daisies Stencil Set and the new Hi Swirl Frame Die Set!! Be sure to check out the Miss Ink IG post for your chance to win a giveaway (today and the previous two days)!!
I started by inking the Daisies Layering Stencils onto white cardstock using Distress Oxide Inks and blending brushes. I used Saltwater Taffy, Abandoned Coral, Mustard Seed, Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness. I splattered the panel with some diluted Saltwater Taffy and Abandoned Coral ink, trimmed it slightly and added it to an A2 panel of pink cardstock.
Next, I die-cut the swirl frame in the Hi Swirl Frame Die Set from white cardstock, inked it with Abandoned Coral ink and adhered it to the daisy background. The top layer of “hi” was die-cut four times from white cardstock and the bottom layer from vellum. I inked one of the white die-cuts with Saltwater Taffy ink, stacked and adhered all the other layers behind it, then adhered it to the front of the card.
“Sending hugs’ is from the Everyday Sentiments Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with Abandoned Coral ink, trimmed into a narrow strip and adhered over the bottom of the die-cut sentiment. I added some dots to the centers of the flowers with a yellow gel pen to finish it off.
Hop on over to IG for more inspiration and a chance at those giveaways!!
Have a great weekend!!
