Happy Monday, fellow crafters!! I hope you had a great weekend!! I have a slimline birthday card to share with you today for Alex Syberia Designs!! I used the colors from the October Challenge as inspiration!!

I began by stenciling the Flickering Candlelight Stencil Set onto white cardstock with dye inks and added glitter gel to the flames. Once dry, I die-cut the panel with the smallest Slimline Nested Stitched Die. The largest die in the same set was used to cut a panel of red cardstock and they were adhered together with liquid glue.

For the sentiment, I foiled “happy birthday” onto Glimmer specialty cardstock with matte black foil using the Birthday & Wish Hot Foil Plate Set. I cut it out with the Coordinating Die, along with another from plain red cardstock and two layers from heavyweight white cardstock. They were layered and adhered together, slightly offset, then popped up with foam tape.

The supporting sentiment, from the Celebrations Sentiments Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with black ink and die-cut with the Thin Stripes Cover Die. How perfect is this sentiment for this card?!? It was also popped up with foam adhesive.
