Hello there!! I have a card to share with you that showcases a few of the new Spellbinders Glimmer Plates from the October 2019 Release!! By the way, the Glimmer Hot Foil System is on sale right now so if you’ve had your eye on it, it’s a great time to pull the trigger!!

To begin, I added Matte Gold Foil using the Glimmering Butterflies, Glimmering Layered Flowers and Hello Dear Friend Hot Foil Plates & Die Sets to purple, red. orange, yellow and green cardstock with my Glimmer Hot Foil Machine. I cut all of the foiled images out with the coordinating dies that are included in the sets.

For the background, I cut a panel of black slightly smaller than an A2 size and splattered it with diluted gold pigment ink. I adhered the die-cut flowers onto opposite corners and trimmed off the excess. The greeting and butterfly were popped up in the center with foam adhesive. I added some Pale Gold Nuvo Drops to the center of the flowers and a few to the background panel and called it done!!

Foiling adds an elegance to cards that just can’t be achieved any other way.
