Hello, crafty friends!! I have a slimline card to share with you today featuring products from the Picket Fence Studios March release!!

I began by spreading the Sapphire Macaw Paper Glaze Velvet onto white cardstock through the Slim Line Pathways Stencil with a palette knife. I also spread a thin layer of the Sapphire Macaw Paper Glaze onto another piece of white cardstock. Once the stenciled panel was dry, it was die-cut with the second largest die from the Slim Line Nested Rectangle Die Set. I also die-cut a panel of white cardstock with the largest die in the same set and adhered the two panels together.

The Fanciful Feather Dies were die-cut from the panel of cardstock that the Sapphire Macaw Paper Glaze was applied to, as well as mirror gold cardstock. The gold outline die was adhered to the background and the blue pieces were inlaid into them.

The shadow layer of the On This Special Day Word Die was die-cut from the Sapphire Macaw Paper Glaze cardstock and heavyweight white cardstock. The top layer was die-cut from mirror gold cardstock once and heavyweight white cardstock three times. All the layers were stacked and adhered together, then added to the front of the card. A few sequins from the All About the Blues Sequin Mix were the perfect finishing touch.
