Happy Tuesday, crafty friends!! I hope your week has started off well!! I’m sharing a pair of birthday cards featuring the beautiful Floral Mosaic Layering Stencil Set from the Honey Bee Stamps Cottage Countryside Release!! I had so much fun with this stencil that I HAD to create two cards with different color schemes!!

I stenciled the Floral Mosaic Layering Stencils onto panels of white cardstock using Distress Inks and blending brushes.

For the pink one I used Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Crackling Campfire.

The panels were die-cut with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangle Die Set. I also die-cut a panel of white cardstock with the largest die in the same set, blended Picked Raspberry ink around the outside of the panel, then adhered the panels together using Bee Creative Glue.

For the sentiment, I blended the same Distress Inks onto a panel of white cardstock and die-cut the top layer of the Big Birthday Die Set from it. I die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock, then cut the shadow layer twice from white cardstock. The layers were stacked and adhered together using Bee Creative Glue, then added to the center of the card. The small sentiment, from the Mini Messages: Birthday Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink and die-cut with a die in the Mini Messages Banners Die Set. I backed the strip with two more layers of heavyweight white cardstock for stability and adhered it across the large die-cut sentiment. 

The second card was created with the same products, only using different colors of Distress Inks.

I used Peacock Feathers, Mustard Seed, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, and Crackling Campfirefor this one.

This time I ink blended the top and the shadow layer of the Big Birthday die-cuts.

I love the vibrancy of this color combo!!

It just feels so festive, doesn’t it?!? I can’t wait to try other color combinations with this stencil set!! So many possibilities!!
