Happy Monday, friends!! Welcome back to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink April Release Countdown!! I have one more card to share with you today featuring some of the new goodies that will be available for purchase tomorrow, April 25 at 10 PM EST!!

I absolutely love all of the products in this release that can be used for masculine cards!! My card today would be perfect for Father’s Day, or anytime you want to express your love and appreciation for your dad!!

For this card, I started with my background. I die-cut the Cover Plate: Exquisite Die from Pure Poppy and Enchanted Evening cardstock. I left some of the negative die-cut areas in the blue layer and adhered it to a panel of Classic Kraft cardstock. I popped all of the negative areas out of the red layer, then adhered it over the blue layer. I love all of the different options with this cover plate. I encourage you to look at the different designs you can create with background dies like this one!

The bat and glove are from the Tuck It: Dad Stamp Set. They were stamped onto white cardstock with Classic Kraft and Dark Chocolate ink, then cut out with the Coordinating Dies. The baseball is from the Just For Dad Stamp Set. It was stamped with Vintage Cream and Pure Poppy ink and cut out with its Coordinating Die. The “You’re An All-Star” sentiment, from the Larger Than Life: Dad Sentiments set, was stamped with Pure Poppy ink onto a white cardstock banner that was die-cut with a die from the Ripped Banners die set. I stamped around the edges of the banner with a stamp from the A Little Rugged stamp set and Blueberry Sky ink, added some Classic Kraft ink to the edges, then adhered it to the front of the card.

The Larger Than Life: Dad die was cut once from Blueberry Sky cardstock and three times from white cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together with the top layer slightly offset, then adhered to the front of the card with liquid glue. Lastly, the glove and bat were popped up with foam tape.
