My card features the Twinkle Light and the PB Press Stamp & Die Bundle from Pear Blossom Press and the Flutter Fly Fabulous Foiling Toner Card Fronts, Turquoise Blue Star Burst & Pitch Black Fabulous Toner Foil, Bugs and Kisses Stamps & Coordinating Dies, A2 Layering Rectangles Dies and The Winter Blues Sequins from Picket Fence Studios!!

I began by foiling the butterfly background panel from the Flutter Fly Fabulous Foiling Toner Card Fronts with Turquoise Blue Star Burst Foil and the trio of butterflies with Pitch Black Foil. I colored the trio of butterflies with Copic markers, then fussy cut them out. The background panel was die-cut with the third largest die in the A2 Layering Rectangles Die Set. Panels of black and blue cardstock were cut out with the two largest dies from the same set.

Next, I figured out placement of the butterflies and used a piercing tool to create small holes in the foiled background, behind where the butterflies would be. I taped a Twinkle Light behind each opening and adhered the battery/switch in place with heavy-duty adhesive. I placed a double layer of foam tape on the back of the foiled background panel and adhered it to the other rectangle panels. The butterflies were adhered over each light with foam adhesive only along the center on the body, allowing the wings to pop-up.

The sentiment, from the Bugs and Kisses Stamp Set along with “press here” from the PB Press Stamp & Die Bundle, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Bugs and Kisses Coordinating Dies and the round die included in the PB Press Stamp & Die Bundle. The round die-cut was adhered with liquid glue and the sentiment was popped up with foam tape. I added a few sequins to finish it off. The iridescent blue sequins in the Winter Blues Sequin Mix match the foil perfectly!
