Hello, crafty friends!! It’s the 14th of the month and that means it’s time for the monthly Picket Fence Studios Release!! There is a fun and inspirational hop going on over on Instagram, but I thought I would share the details for my cards here!!

The December 2022 Release is chock-full of goodness!! I have two cards to share with you today!! One of them features one stamp set and some sequins, while the other combines several different products, so whichever you prefer, I got you!!

Let’s start with the simpler of the two!!

I began by heat embossing the My World Revolves Around You Stamp onto Bristol smooth cardstock with sparkle embossing powder. I scribbled on some Karin Brushmarker Pro markers in shades of orange and yellow and blended them out with water and a paintbrush.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, also from the My World Revolves Around You Stamp Set, directly onto the background with PFS Black Ink.

Sequins from the All About the Yellows Mix were the perfect finishing touch!!

Now for the one with several different products and layers!!

I began by blending Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of white cardstock using the Petals Stencil and Life Changing Blending Brushes. I trimmed the panel and adhered it to a panel of pink cardstock, then to an A2 white card base.

Next, I die-cut the A Little Note Word Die, Layering Flora: Blooming Blossoms and Layering Flora: Leaves and Twigs Dies from white cardstock. I blended the same colors of cardstock onto the top layer of the sentiment and the flower die-cuts, then used Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron on the greenery. The A2 Pierced Blanket Cover Plate Die was cut from white cardstock, then trimmed down and adhered over the background panel. The flowers and leaves were arranged and adhered with liquid adhesive, while the sentiment was popped up with foam tape.

For the finishing touch, I added sequins to the centers of the flowers using the All About the Yellows, All About the Pinks & Flower Beds embellishment mixes.
