Hello, friends!! It’s an exciting day!! The Pretty Pink Posh February release just dropped and it’s AMAZING!! It’s filled with Easter and spring goodness!! I had so much fun mixing and matching goodies to create my cards with this release!! My card today features the Daffodil Shaker Dies, Watering Can Shaker Dies, Large Spring Shadow Dies, Easter Banner Greetings Stamp Set, Banner Greetings 3 Die Set, Mini Checker Stencil, Scallop Frames Die Set and the Bunny Hop Shaker Beads!!

I began by die-cutting the outline of the Watering Can Shaker Die from gray cardstock and the Daffodil Shaker Dies from yellow and green cardstock. I added some shading using dye inks and blending brushes. I love how you have the option to make the entire daffodil a shaker or just the center!! I chose to do both, using the Bunny Hop Shaker Beads!!

For the background, I blended the Mini Checker Stencil onto an A2 panel of white cardstock with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I trimmed the panel and adhered a frame that was die-cut from blue cardstock with the largest die in the Scallop Frames Die Set, then adhered it to a white A2 card base. The daffodil shakers, leaves and watering can were adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment is a combination of the Large Spring Shadow Die Set and the Easter Banner Greetings Stamps & Banner Greetings 3 Dies. The top layer of “spring” was die-cut once from light purple cardstock that was blended with darker purple ink on the bottom. I also die-cut the top layer three more times from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut from vellum, then the layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue. The sentiment from the Easter Banner Greetings Stamp Set was white heat embossed onto light purple cardstock and cut out with a die in the Banner Greetings 3 Die Set. I blended a bit of darker purple ink along the bottom of the banner, as well, then popped it up with foam squares. Star Dust Stickles added to the centers of the daffodils add a bit of sparkle and finish off the card.
