Hello, friends!! Welcome to Day 2 of the Countdown to Confetti over at Reverse Confetti!! I am super excited to be joining the release celebration as a ‘Fetti Friend!! There are some AMAZING new products that we will be highlighting over the next two days and they will all be available for purchase on July 8th. (Links to the goodies from the new release will not be active until they go on sale on July 8th.)
We are celebrating with a fun blog hop full of inspiration with a chance to win a GC to the Reverse Confetti Shop!! More details further down in this post!!
My sneak peek today features the Snail Mail Stamp Set, Snail Mail Confetti Cuts, Cloudy Day Cover Panel Confetti Cuts and Three Tags Confetti Cuts.
I began by stamping the images from the Snail Mail stamp set onto white cardstock with pale ink, for some no-line coloring. The images were colored with Copic markers and details were added with colored pencils. All of the images were cut out with the Coordinating Confetti Cuts. I die-cut a tag from black cardstock with the Three Tags Confetti Cuts and white heat embossed the sentiment from Snail Mail onto it.
Next, I went to work on my background. I ink blended Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of Bristol smooth cardstock. I die-cut the Cloudy Day Cover Panel Confetti Cuts from white cardstock. I wanted to use the clouds, so I set the die-cut panel aside for another card.
I tied some red & white bakers twine through the hole in the tag and added it and all of my die-cut elements with foam adhesive. A black glaze pen adds some shine to the snail’s eyes and white gel pen was used to add some dots to the mushrooms.
OK, now for the hop!! Be sure to comment along the way for your chance to win a $15 GC to the Reverse Confetti Shop!!
You can double your chances to win by visiting the Reverse Confetti Facebook Page and leaving a comment there!! Comments will close at noon CST on July 7 and the winners will be announced at 5pm CST on the Reverse Confetti Blog and Facebook page.
