Hello, friends!!! I am super excited to be joining Reverse Confetti as a ‘Fetti Friend and be participating in a HUGE Blog Hop full of talented designers to celebrate the July Release!!!! All of the goodies that you’ve seen sneaks of all week are available for purchase in the Reverse Confetti Shop NOW!! Such a GREAT release!!
If you arrived here from Jeff Lindberg’s Blog, you are on the right track!! I have also included a complete list of stops below.
Let’s get to my project!! I fell in love with these two bunnies!!!
I began by stamping the adorable images from the Rain or Shine stamp set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and cut them out with the Rain or Shine Confetti Cuts.
Next, I started on my background. I thought it would be super fun to make a shaker card with the Cloudy Day Cover Panel!! I ink-blended Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of Bristol smooth cardstock and cut it with the Cloudy Day Cover Panel. I also cut a “hill” from Bristol cardstock and ink-blended Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks onto it.
I added acetate to the back of my cloud panel and placed foam adhesive along the edges and around each cloud. (This makes certain that the confetti stays within each cloud, instead of falling to the bottom.) I placed my clear confetti mix into each cloud opening and added it to a panel of blue sparkle cardstock. I LOVE the combination of the blue glitter paper and the clear confetti peeking through the clouds!!
The sentiment, also from Rain or Shine, was stamped onto the grass panel with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. It was then adhered to the bottom of the cloud panel. All of the die-cut images were added to the front of the shaker with foam adhesive.
OK…your next stop on the hop is Janette Kausen!! Here is the complete list of stops!!
