Hello, crafty friends!! I hope you are all doing well!! I just got back from a long, much-needed girls’ weekend with my best friend!! It’s been a tradition for several years that we get together over both weekends of deer season! Since we live about 5 hours from each other, it’s something we look forward to every year!!
I have a card to share with you today that combines a few of the House Builder Stamp Sets & Dies from Honey Bee Stamps!! These House Builder sets are so much fun to mix and match to construct the exact building that you want to create!! So much fun!!! Let’s get started!!
I started by stamping all of the images in the Toy Store House Builder Add-on Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. After coloring them with Copic markers, they were cut out with the Coordinating Dies. I set those aside and got busy building the workshop.
I die-cut the house shaped card base and chimney from white cardstock using the House Builder Card Base Honey Cuts and added the brick detail with the Perfect Bricks Background Stencil, Fired Brick and Candied Apple Distress Oxide Inks and Blending Brushes. The roof and snow were cut from green cardstock and white glitter paper using dies from the Gingerbread House Add-on Die Set and adhered to the brick card base.
The rest of the elements were cut from white, green yellow, red and gray cardstocks using the Toy Store House Builder Add-on Dies. I added red Copic marker detail to the red area of the porch roof for dimension, before inlaying it inside the white porch structure. “Santa’s Workshop”, from the Toy Store House Builder Add-on Stamp Set, was stamped onto the sign with red ink. The wreath, from the same stamp set, was stamped onto green cardstock with darker green ink. The tiny door handle was cut from silver cardstock using a die from the original House Builder Card Base Set. Then all I had to do was adhere all of the fun detailed die-cuts where I wanted them to go!! It’s so much fun to watch these buildings come together!!
I just love seeing all the different ways these sets can be combined to create totally different looks!!
Thanks for joining me today!! Have a Happy Thanksgiving and I’ll see you soon!!
