Hello, fellow crafters and happy Saturday!! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!! I have a serious love affair with cardstock!! Anyone else?!? I recently received a box of cardstock and specialty paper from Your Paper Insider and, let me tell you, I was soooooo impressed!! So much so that I subscribed!! This is a quarterly subscription that you receive at least 20 hand-picked and curated papers from around the world!! The cardstock that I received in my first box is so heavy and luxurious!! And the specialty papers are beautiful and unique!!

I pulled out a couple of recently released stamps, dies and pattern paper from Honey Bee Stamps to create this adorable fall card!!

I used the pattern paper from the Honey Bee Sweet & Spooky Paper Pad to determine my color combo. Several of the pieces of cardstock and the aqua and pink specialty vellum from the Your Paper Insider matched perfectly!!

The scarecrow was die-cut from cardstock and pattern paper using the Lovely Layers: Scarecrow Die Set. It was layered over the specialty pink vellum and aqua vellum ovals, then the pumpkin pattern paper and teal cardstock. I added some highlights to the die-cuts with a white gel pen.

The sentiment, from the Something To Crow About Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto teal cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Die, then popped up with foam tape. I added a sweet die-cut sunflower to the scarecrow’s hat that was die-cut using dies from the Farmhouse Fields Pumpkin Patch Add-on Die Set.
