Hello, friends!! I’m sharing a fun, monochromatic Halloween card today featuring the Dancing Skeletons Die Set from Scrappy Tails Crafts!! I just received the Nevermore Layering Stencil Set and I couldn’t wait to ink it up!! I thought it would pair perfectly with the Dancing Skeletons!!

I started by stenciling the Nevermore Layering Stencil Set onto smooth white cardstock using three shades of gray dye inks. I die-cut the panel with a rectangle die and adhered it to an A2 panel of black cardstock.

Next, I die-cut the skeleton using the Dancing Skeletons Die Set. The top layer was die-cut once from white cardstock, then the bottom layer was cut once from black cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The sentiment and music notes are from the same die set. The top layer was cut from black cardstock and the bottom layer was cut from white cardstock three times. All the layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue.

I adhered the skeleton and sentiment to a panel of vellum, then adhered the vellum to the background, adding adhesive only behind the die-cuts. The music notes were adhered, filling in the bare spots in the background and this card was finished.
