Hello, everyone!! There is a fun and inspiring hop happening over on Instagram to celebrate the Scrappy Tails Crafts Tropical Bliss Release!! I thought I would share my card here, in case anyone was interested in the details! This colorful 5” x 7” card combines a few different sets from the Tropical Bliss Release, including a free gift with purchase!

I began by die-cutting all the pieces for my parrot from white cardstock using the Parrot Die Set. I used Copic markers to add color and details to the pieces, then adhered them all together. I absolutely LOVE the birds in this release!!

For the background, the A7 Aloha Tropical Leaves Cover Plate Die was die-cut from green cardstock, layered and adhered over a panel of black cardstock. It was trimmed slightly and adhered to a 5” x 7” panel of aqua cardstock that matched my parrot. The flowers were die-cut from dark pink and yellow cardstock with dies included in the A7 Aloha Tropical Leaves Cover Plate Die. I added some dots to the centers of the flowers with a yellow gel pen. I also die-cut some extra leaves from lighter green cardstock with the Tropical Leaves Die Set. I cut one of them apart to use as small leaves behind the floral clusters.

The Hello Sunshine Die Set (free with a $150 purchase), was die-cut from aqua and yellow cardstock. “Hello” was adhered together, slightly offset. I used the negative area of “sunshine” and adhered yellow cardstock behind it. All that was left was to adhere everything together!!
