Hello, friends and happy Thursday!! I have a sweet ocean themed flat shaker card to share with you featuring the adorable mermaid from the Sea You Soon Stamp Set from Trinity Stamps!!

I began by stamping the mermaid and sentiment from the Sea You Soon Stamp Set onto white cardstock using InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored the mermaid with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen and fussy cut her out, along with the sentiment. There are Coordinating Dies available, but I don’t have them, so I just trimmed them out with a pair of scissors. I added some sparkle to the narwhal with a Versamark pen and sparkle embossing powder.

Next, I heat embossed the Wavy Lines Background Stamp onto aqua cardstock using glitter embossing powder. I die-cut the panel with the second largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Rectangle Set B Die Set.

I adhered an A2 Card Layer Flat Acetate Shaker Pocket on three sides of the panel with Rip ‘N Stick Tape. I added three confetti mixes (Seafoam, Glacier & Poolside) to the pocket and adhered the top closed.

The shaker pocket was adhered to a white A2 card base using a combination of tape & liquid glue.

The mermaid and sentiment were both adhered to the front of the shaker with liquid glue and this card was finished.

Everyone loves a shaker, am I right? These flat shaker pockets make it so easy to create one!!
