Hello there all!! Welcome back to another project for Honey Bee Tuesday!!! I can’t stop playing with the adorable birds from the Season’s Tweetings set!! When I looked at the set, I thought it would be so cute to arrange all the birds into a choir, singing Christmas carols…I started off by first stamping all the birds from the Season’s Tweetings set onto full adhesive post-it notes and cut them out to create a few masks of each bird. Then I went to work stamping the rows of birds with Versamark and heat embossing them with gold embossing powder, masking as needed. Once all the stamping & embossing was complete, I colored the birds with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Next, I watercolored the sky with Distress Ink, then splattered with water and picked up some of the color to look like snow. I also flicked some watered down white paint onto the sky for snowflakes. The sentiment and music notes are also from Season’s Tweetings, and were stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder onto the sky. I trimmed the panel down slightly and adhered it onto some fun foam, before centering it onto some gold foil striped paper that I had in my stash.
Thanks again for joining me for another Honey Bee Tuesday!!! I’ll see you next Tuesday with another Honey Bee project!!!
