Sending Birthday Blooms – Hero Arts

Hello, friends and happy Sunday!! I hope you’re having a great weekend!! I have a birthday card to share today featuring the Summer Bouquet Stamp & Cut from the Hero Arts Seaside Blooms Collection!!

I started by stamping the images from the Summer Bouquet Stamp & Cut Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink and coloring them with Copic markers. I did some partial die-cutting and left the top of the arms attached to the body. I adhered a piece of Wild Berry cardstock behind the die-cut and created some “springs” by scoring and folding some strips of the same berry cardstock and adhering them to the Wild Berry cardstock, under the bouquet.

I trimmed a panel of white cardstock slightly smaller than A2 and embossed it with the Flowers & Foliage 3D Embossing Folder. It was adhered to an A2 panel of Wild Berry cardstock. The die-cut was adhered with liquid glue and the bow was adhered to the bouquet.

The sentiment is also included in the Summer Bouquet Stamp & Cut Set. It was white heat embossed onto Raven cardstock and cut out with the coordinating die. I also die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the embossed one. It was adhered at the top of the card. I added some dots to the flowers and some highlights to the images with a white gel pen to finish off the card.

I really love how the bouquet pops up when the card is removed from the envelope!!

Thank you so much for dropping by today!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
