Happy Tuesday, friends!! I’m sharing a card today featuring one of the purrrfect kitty images from the Meow & Furever Stamp Set from the Honey Bee Stamps Pet-tastic Release!!

I started by stamping the kitten image and butterflies from the Meow & Furever Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. A black glaze pen was used to add a bit of shine to the kitty’s eyes and nose.

I built up several layers of cardstock to create lots of dimension and interest to the background. First, I die-cut the scalloped die in the Lace Hearts Layering Frames Die Set from pink cardstock and adhered it to a white A2 card base. The Paw Prints 3D Embossing Folder was embossed onto a panel of white cardstock and it was trimmed down and adhered to the pink scalloped panel with Bee Creative Glue. I die-cut another panel of white cardstock with the ornate rectangle die in the Fancy Fall Layering Frames Die Set, then cut out the center with a die in the Sweet Stacks: Ovals Die Set. It was adhered to the embossed panel, along with the kitty image and butterflies, with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment, from the You’ve Got A Friend Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with pink dye ink, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the stamped one before adhering them to the front of the card with Bee Creative Glue. Pale purple pearls from the Spring Pearls Pearl Sticker Pack finish off the card.

I just love this little kitten!! Although I’m 100% a dog person, I have several friends and family who are cat people, so this will come in handy!!
