Hello & happy Honey Bee Tuesday, my crafty friends!! I recently saw a photo on Instagram of a color combination and fell head over heels!! I LOVE this combo for fall…plus, we cannot spread enough sunshine with the events that have been happening in the news lately.
Isn’t it gorgeous? I started by stamping the florals from Country Blooms onto opposite corners of a panel of Bristol paper with Versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I used a bit of masking to layer the stamps. The flowers were colored with Zig Clean Color markers. I used the Sending Sunshine set (from the United We Flourish collaboration between Honey Bee & Ellen Hutson) to die-cut the “Sunshine” sentiment. I used several layers of Versamark and gold embossing powder to coat the die-cut. The bottom, outline layer was cut from blue cardstock, as was the panel to mount the embossed panel onto. The “sending” sentiment was heat embossed directly onto the card base with gold embossing powder. The “sunshine” sentiment was popped onto some foam adhesive and adhered onto the card as shown. A few sequins from the Indian Summer Sequin Mix were the perfect finishing touch.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Here’s hoping you have a wonderful week!!!
