Hello, crafty friends and happy Thursday!! We’re featuring cozy beverages for Trinity Stamps this week and with the frigid weather we’ve been having, a warm, cozy beverage is always a great idea!!

I started by die-cutting the card base and all the pieces for my mug from two colors of aqua, bright pink, green, brown and two colors of yellow cardstock using the Trini-TEA Cup Card Die Set.

Next, I die-cut the top layer of the “Hugs” sentiment once from bright pink cardstock and twice from heavyweight white cardstock using the Simply Sentimental: Hugs Die Set. The bottom layer was cut three times from heavyweight white cardstock, then they were layered and adhered together using liquid glue.

The rest of the sentiment was stamped onto a white cardstock strip with bright pink ink using a stamp from the Simply Sentimental: Hugs Stamp Set.

All of the die-cuts were adhered to the mug using liquid glue.

The sentiment strip was popped up with foam tape.

At this point, I wanted another pop of yellow, so I pulled out the Garden Flowers Die Set and cut the flower from yellow and pink cardstock. I cut two more leaves from green cardstock using the Trini-TEA Cup Card Die Set. They were adhered to the top, left with liquid glue. I added a trio of Popsicle Pink Baubles to the center of the flower and a Perfect Pink Heart Bauble to the heart die-cut and this card was finished.

I really love how this turned out!! From the colors to the shaped card, what’s not to love?!?
