Hello, friends and happy Saturday!! I hope you’re all staying warm and safe inside!! We’re supposed to get several inches of snow here in MO over the weekend!! Perfect weather to stay inside and craft, if you ask me!!
My pop up card today features the Birch Tree Pop Up Tunnel Die Set from Scrappy Tails Crafts, along with elements from the A7 Birch Tree Cover Plate, Central Park Skaters Add-On Dies, the Poinsettia Pop Up Tunnel Die Set and a sentiment from the Winterscape Trees & Deer Set!!

I began by die-cutting the front and back pieces of the pop up, birch trees, cabin, deer and cardinals from dusty blue, white, red, black, green and two shades of brown cardstock using the Birch Trees Pop Up Tunnel Die Set. All the individual elements were adhered together with liquid glue. The side pieces of the pop up were cut from dusty blue cardstock with the die from the Poinsettia Pop Up Tunnel Die Set.

The evergreen layer was cut from white cardstock with a die from the Central Park Skaters Add-On Die Set. The A7 Birch Tree Cover Plate was cut from white cardstock. I trimmed three of the trees away and adhered them to the back panel. The front, inner and back panels were folded along the score lines and reinforced with a bone folder, before being adhered to the side panels with doubled sided tape and liquid glue. The cabin, deer and cardinals were adhered with liquid glue.

The top layer of the sentiment, from the Winterscape Trees & Deer Die Set was cut once from red cardstock and twice from heavyweight white cardstock. The bottom layer was cut from heavyweight white cardstock two times, then the layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue. It was then adhered on each end, bridging across the top of the front panel.

I used a glitter pen to add a bit of shine to some of the trees, snow, steam from the fireplace and the windows of the cabin. I used a white gel pen and black fine line marker to accent the cardinals eyes, a black fine liner on the deer’s face and added some dots to the deer’s back and snow to the tiny trees with a white gel pen.

I love that this folds flat to fit in a 5″x7″ envelope!!

Here are a couple of sides of the sides…

That does it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! Stay warm and safe this weekend!!
