Hello, Trinity friends!! Happy, happy Friday!! I hope you’ve had a great week!! I’m going on vacation next week (for the first time in yyyeeeaaarrrs), so I’ve been doing A LOT of crafting to prepare for when I’m gone!! I can’t wait!!
I have a holiday card to share with you today for Trinity Stamps featuring the Holiday Tag Dies!! I love adding large tags to cards!! They take center stage and do all of the work for you!! Let’s get to it, shall we?
I started by die-cutting my tag from red and white cardstock and a piece of patterned paper from the Holiday Trimmings Paper Pad using the tag die in Holiday Tag Die Set. I trimmed off the top and bottom of the red tag and adhered it all together.
Next, I die-cut the ornament in the Holiday Tag Set from white cardstock twice and aqua glitter cardstock once. I absolutley love how thin and delicate these die-cuts are!! The letters in “joy” were die-cut twice from red cardstock and once from red glitter cardstock. They were all stacked and adhered together with liquid adhesive.
I trimmed a piece of aqua polka dot patterned paper in the Winter Hues Paper Pad to 4″ x 5.25″ and a narrow strip of red glitter cardstock. “Sending You” is from the Simply Sentimental – Happy Stamp Set. It was white heat embossed onto red cardstock and trimmed into a narrow strip.
The polka dot paper was adhered to a white A2 card base and the red glitter paper was adhered across the panel and trimmed on each side. The tag and ornament were adhered as shown.
I added some light blue polka dot ribbon tied with a red and white twine bow to the top of the tag before adhering it to the front of the card. The “sending you” sentiment strip was popped up with foam adhesive and I was finished!!
Red and aqua is one of my favorite color combos for holiday cards, so I really love this one!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you back here real soon!!
