Hello, fellow crafters!! I have a monochromatic sympathy card to share today for Honey Bee Stamps!! You know that I’m usually all about color. However, when creating sympathy cards, I find that an understated, monochromatic design that keeps the focus on a heartfelt sentiment is one of the best ways to express my condolences, so that’s what I did for my card today.

I started by stamping the butterflies from the All Things New Stamp Set onto white cardstock and vellum using Bee Creative Embossing Ink. I heat embossed them with gold embossing powder, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I adhered the vellum butterflies to the top of the white cardstock butterflies, adding Bee Creative Glue only behind the embossing on the butterfly bodies.

For the background, I stamped the stunning Zelia’s English Garden Stamp onto a panel of white cardstock using Bee Creative Metallic Gold Ink. It was die-cut with the largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. I swiped the Bee Creative Gold Metallic Ink pad along the edges.

The sentiment, from the Heartfelt Condolences Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock, also using Bee Creative Embossing Ink, and embossed with gold embossing powder. The Coordinating Die was used to cut it out. The butterflies were adhered to the background, adding Bee Creative Glue only behind the bodies of the butterflies, while the sentiment was popped up with foam tape. Matte gold pearls from the Vintage Pearl Sticker Pack finish off the card.

I love how this turned out!! This will definitely be in the front of my stash for the next time I need a sympathy card, which I hope is a loooong time from now!!
Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a terrific Tuesday!!
