Simon Says Stamp DieCember

Hello, crafty friends!! It’s DieCember at Simon Says Stamp!! I’m sharing a Christmas card, which doubles as a gift card holder, created with the Layered Scallop Tags Die Set today!!

I began by die-cutting the largest stitched tag and the tab in the Layered Scallop Tags Die Set from red cardstock and the largest scalloped tag from light blue cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Holly Jolly Stamp Set onto the blue tag with Schoolhouse Red & teal inks. I tied a red and white twine bow onto the tab, then adhered the tab and the tags together with liquid glue.

The patterned paper in the background is from the Honey Bee Stamps Merry Moments Paper Pad. It was die-cut with a rectangle die and adhered to a white A2 card base with liquid glue. I figured out placement for the tag, then applied liquid glue only around the top, bottom and left side of the tag, then adhered it to the background. The right side is open to slide a gift card into.

The snowflakes, from the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Snowflakes Die Set, were cut from red and white cardstock and pearled silver vellum. They were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then adhered to the background with a foam square. Pearls from the Honey Bee Stamps Merry Moments Pearl Sticker Pack were the perfect finishing touch.

I really love how this turned out!! We gift a lot of gift cards in my family, so this will definitely come in handy!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great Thursday!!
