Happy Saturday, fellow crafters!! I hope you’re all doing well!! I’m sharing a fun shaker card today featuring the adorable Rainy Day Stamp Set from Pink & Main!!
I started by stamping the images from the Rainy Day Stamp Set onto Ice Rink cardstock using Asphalt ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I white heat embossed the sentiments, also from the Rainy Day Stamp Set, onto Asphalt cardstock and also used the Coordinating Dies to cut those out.
Next, I die-cut a panel of Ice Rink cardstock with the third largest die in the Layered Rectangles A2 Die Set and used Distress Oxide Inks to add the ground and sky with blending brushes. The die-cuts were all adhered to the background with liquid glue, trimming the excess from each side. A plaid panel of pattern paper from the Year Round Plaids Paper Pack was die-cut with the largest die in the same Layered Rectangles A2 Die Set and the background panel was adhered to it.
I adhered both sides and the bottom of an A2 Shaker Cover to the back of the panel, added Diamond Confetti Sequins, then sealed the top of the panel. It was adhered to a white A2 card base with strong double-sided tape to finish.
What a fun way to brighten a rainy day, don’t you think?!?
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great weekend!!
