Hello, crafters and happy Thursday!! I have an adorable winter scene card to share featuring the adorable Ice Friends Stamp Set from Trinity Stamps!! I wanted to create a scene that looked like these critters were ice skating on a huge hill with the forest in the background.
I started by stamping the images from the Ice Friends Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them with Copics, added details with a white gel pen, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. The sentiment, from the same set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with its Coordinating Die.
The Pine Forest Background Stamp was stamped onto another panel of white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. It was also colored with Copics and splattered with white acrylic ink. I trimmed down the panel and saved the excess for another card.
One of the dies from the Embossed Edge Hills & Slopes Die Set was cut from a panel of white cardstock. tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink was blended onto the panel using a Blending Buddy.
The tree panel, hill and pond were adhered to an A2 card panel using liquid glue.
The critters and sentiment were all popped up with adhesive foam strips.
I added a bit of sparkle to the blades of the skates with a clear glitter pen.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a great Thursday and I’ll see you soon!!
