Hello, crafty friends!! I’m here with you today for Day Five of the annual Twelve Designers Event on the Honey Bee Blog!!
In my family, gift cards are one of the most popular requested items for Christmas!! I can never have too many gift card holders!! It’s an added bonus when they are as cute as these little stockings created with the Stocking Gift Card Holder Honey Cuts!!
I used a couple of new products, along with some of my favorites from past releases!! Let’s get started!!
I began by die-cutting the Stocking Gift Card Holder Honey Cuts from heavyweight white cardstock and Sugar Crystal Glitter Cardstock and glued the toppers onto the gift card inserts. I blended some Distress Oxide Inks onto the front of the stockings and spread Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste through the Snowfall Background Stencil.
The images from the Snow Buddies stamp set were stamped onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic markers. I used the Coordinating Honey Cuts to die-cut the images.
The snow was die-cut using the Stocking Gift Card Holder and a die from the Hill Border Dies.
For the greetings, “Merry” was die-cut from pink and white cardstock with a die from the Merry and Bright Honey Cuts. “Christmas”, from the Fa La La stamp set, was white heat embossed onto a pink cardstock strip.
Then all I had to do was assemble all of the components! I did add a few highlights with a white gel pen.
I just LOVE how these turned out!! I can’t wait to make more for all of the gift cards that I plan to give!!
Be sure to check the Honey Bee Blog daily as we continue the 12 Days of Christmas Event with lots of inspiration and incredible designers!!
Have a great day!! I’ll see you soon!!!
