So Stinkin’ Thrilled Balloon Shaped Card – Trinity Stamps

Hello, crafters and happy Thursday!! I hope your week is going well!! I have a balloon shaped card to share today featuring the So Stinkin’ Thrilled Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies from Trinity Stamps!! There’s just something about a shaped card that makes it a bit more special, don’t you agree?!?

I started by die-cutting the ballon shape in the So Stinkin’ Thrilled Die Set from smooth white cardstock and blending it with Marilyn Red, Marigold Orange, Bee Sting Yellow, Goddess Green, Trinity Teal and My Jam Purple ink using Blending Buddy Brushes. I stamped the So Stinkin’ Thrilled Stamp Set onto the balloon with InkOn3 Blackout Ink and colored it with shades of gray Copic markers.

Next, I die-cut the balloon die from the So Stinkin’ Thrilled Die Set again from an A2 top-folding white card base, leaving the die hanging over the folded edge just a bit.

The letters to spell the word “thrilled” was cut two times from heavyweight white cardstock and once each from black glossy and holographic cardstock using dies in the So Stinkin’ Thrilled Die Set. They were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, slightly offsetting the top layer to create a shadow.

I tied black and white twine around the neck of the balloon on the front panel, then adhered it to the shaped card base with liquid glue.

The die-cut “thrilled” letters were adhered to the front of the card, also using liquid glue.

I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the letters. The Oh My Stars Holographic Stars were the perfect match to the holographic paper and add a bit more shine to this shaped card.

I absolutely LOVE how this turned out!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great Thursday and I’ll see you soon!!
