Sorry, I’m A Little Slow Belated Birthday Card – Trinity Stamps

Hello, crafty friends and happy first day of August!! This summer is going by SO FAST!! I have a belated birthday card featuring the adorable A Little Slow Stamp Set from Trinity Stamps!! Please tell me that I’m not the only one who sends out belated birthday cards? I’m terrible about getting them out on time!!

I began by stamping the snail, balloons and sentiments from the A Little Slow Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored the images with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

Next, I stenciled the Stars & Sprinkles Stencil Set onto a panel of white cardstock using Blending Buddies with Bee Sting, Goddess Green, Peacock Blue and Sweet Petunia inks. It was die-cut with the third largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Rectangle Set B Die Set. I also die-cut a panel of blue cardstock with the largest die in the Dainty Scallop Rectangles Die Set and a vellum circle from a die in the Clean Cut Layers Circle Set B Die Set.

I blended the same inks that I used with the stencils onto a small area of a piece of white cardstock and die-cut it with the bottom layer of one of the dies in the Simply Sentimental: Birthday Die Set. The top layer was cut from black cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue.

The scalloped rectangle and stenciled panel were adhered to an A2 white cardbase with liquid glue.

The balloons and confetti were adhered to the vellum circle with liquid glue and the snail was popped up with foam adhesive. The circle was then adhered to the front of the card, adding liquid glue only behind the die-cuts.

The “Happy” and “Birthday” die-cuts were popped up with foam adhesive and the sub-sentiment was adhered at the bottom with liquid glue and this card was complete.

That’s it for me today!! Now I have one more card to add to my stash for the next time I need a belated birthday card!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!
