Hello, crafty friends!!!

I have a card to share with you today featuring the April Small Die of the Month Kit, “Gift Border & Sentiments”, from Spellbinders!!! This set contains dies for the round gifts, bows and several sentiments, as well as the border dies to cut both edges of the gifts!! So versatile to use for so many occasions!!

I began by die-cutting the gifts in the April Small Die of the Month Kit from a panel of black cardstock. I only die-cut the top of the gifts with the included border dies. The bows and sentiment were cut from silver glitter paper.

Next, I ink-blended Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of Bristol cardstock. I die-cut the top border and the sentiment from the ink-blended panel, then adhered them behind the gifts and silver glitter sentiment.

For the background, I used the April Embossing Folder of the Month with white cardstock. I trimmed it slightly and added it to a black cardstock panel, then a white card base. The panel of gifts, bows and sentiment were adhered as shown.

That’s it!! Perfect for so many occasions!!
