Hello, friends and happy Sunday!! I hope you’re having a great day!!
I’m sharing a card today created with a couple of new products from the Spellbinders Be Merry Collection!! While it seems strange to be making Christmas projects when it’s in the 90’s here, it does feel good to get a jump start on my Christmas cards!!
I LOVE using non-traditional colors on my Christmas cards!! So, I began by die-cutting all of my elements from pink, white, lime green, brown, black glitter, white glitter, glossy black and holographic cardstock using the Shopping Spree and Dancin’ Gnomes Etched Dies from the Be Merry Collection. After adhering all of the die-cuts together, I set them aside and started on my background.
I chose to use a pale blue patterned paper with snowflakes for the background. I hand cut the “snow” from white glitter paper and adhered it to the patterned paper, then a top-folding white card base. The sentiment, from the Home For Christmas Sentiments Stamp Set, was stamped onto the background with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. The die-cut tree and girl with the gifts were then adhered, tucking the tree trunk under the snow and popping up the upper body of the girl with foam tape.
That’s it!! A pretty simple card, but the die-cuts sure add a lot!!
Thanks so much for dropping by!! Enjoy your day and I’ll see you soon!!
