Hello and happy Fri-YAY!!

Spellbinders recently released a couple of new collections, Modern Essentials and Bold Type Sentiments, and i have a card to share with you that combines the two plus some goodies that I had left over from the February Card Kit of the Month (which you can purchase separately).

I’m trying to increase my stash of birthday cards, so that’s what i chose to make!

“Happy” from the Die D-Lites Bold Type Happy Die set was the perfect beginning to my sentiment. I die-cut it from white and holographic cardstock and layered them together, slightly offset. I chose to hot foil the remainder of the sentiment with Prism Foil and the More Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plates. I cut it into a strip with a die included in that set.

I chose a unicorn sticker, piece of patterned paper and cardstock that I had left over from the February Card Kit of the Month. I die-cut the patterned paper with the Nestabilities Essential Circles Etched Dies and the pink cardstock using the Nestabilities Essential Rectangles Etched Dies. Then I just had to adhere everything to a white cardbase.

A few Disco Ball Confetti pieces from Trinity Stamps reinforced the holographic shine and added a bit more bling!! (You can’t ever have enough bling…amiright?)
