Hello, friends and happy Wednesday!!

I have a card to share with you today featuring the February 2022 Large Die of the Month Kit, “Typing Class” from Spellbinders. I love vintage typewriters!! When I saw this month’s kit, I knew I would absolutely love creating with it!! Of course, I had to make my typewriter aqua!!

I began by using the dies in the February 2022 Large Die of the Month Kit to cut all of the parts for the typewriter from aqua, dark gray, light gray, and silver mirror cardstock. I adhered all of the pieces together with liquid glue.

I die-cut the flowers, stems and leaves from dark pink, light pink, dark peach, light peach, dark green and light green cardstock. The ‘paper’ was trimmed to size and the sentiment was die-cut from it, leaving the negative area. I adhered aqua cardstock behind it. The “paper” and flowers were inserted into the opening in the typewriter and adhered.

For the background, I embossed the February 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month from light pink cardstock. I trimmed it to A2 size and adhered it to a white-top-folding card base. (I actually used the backside of the panel, where the lines are debossed.) The typewriter was adhered to the front of the card, popping the top portion of the “paper” up with foam tape and adhering the typewriter with liquid adhesive. I added some baubles to the center of three of the flowers and that’s it!!

Isn’t that typewrite just the cutest?!?
