Hello there!! Happy Saturday!! I hope you have some fun plans this weekend! It is supposed to be unseasonably warm here in the Midwest, and after the frigid weather we have had lately, I will welcome it with open arms!!
I have a project for Spellbinders showcasing the February Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month.
This kit contains eight sentiments and two banner dies to cut them out. I actually used the longer of the two banner dies to cut different colored cardstock. (A great way to use up some of your scraps.) I adhered them diagonally in rainbow order across a piece of white cardstock and trimmed off the access. It was adhered to a gold foil and black cardstock panel. I foiled three of the sentiments with Gold Foil onto black cardstock using the Glimmer Hot Foil System and my Platinum 6. I just love the look of foil on black!! It is so classy!! I die-cut the sentiments with the shorter banner die. I die-cut a circle from vellum using one of the Nestabilities Standard Circle LG Etched Dies and trimmed a bit from the side. I adhered the sentiment banner die-cuts and a few stars from the Black Tie Affair Embellishment Mix onto the vellum circle. This gave me areas to hide my adhesive when I adhered the vellum circle. Finally, I trimmed the access from the right side of each of the banners and called it done!!
Thanks so much for joining me today!! You can go HERE to claim your own Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month and subscribe to upcoming kits!!
