Hello, crafty friends and happy Monday!! Have you recovered from all of the holiday festivities?
Spellbinders has a brand new club kit…the Embossing Folder of the Month!! This isn’t just any old embossing folder…this thing is huge!! You can create a 5” x 7” or even a slimline card with it!! I made a regular A2 size card today, but I love having the option of other sizes!!
I began by running the embossing folder through my Platinum 6 with pink cardstock. I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to a panel of red cardstock, then an A2 card base. The intricate heart was cut from white cardstock using a die in the January Small Die of the Month. It was adhered to a red die-cut heart, then added to the front of the card. The flowers were die-cut from pink cardstock and added to the heart.
The sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock with red ink using the January Stamp of the Month, then die-cut into a banner with a die included in the January Stamp & Die of the Month. I popped it up onto the heart with foam adhesive. Red gem stickers added to the centers of the flowers was the perfect finishing touch!!
If you love adding texture to your cards like I do, the Embossing Folder of the Month Kit may be perfect for you!!
You can also check out all of the other Club Kits from Spellbinders!!
Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!
