Hello, friends!! Happy New Year!! Did you celebrate last night? It was pretty low-key for us…just my hubby and I (and our two fur babies).

I have a Valentine card to share with you today using the new January Stamp of the Month from Spellbinders!! I was so excited when Spellbinders came out with this monthly kit!!!

I began by stamping the patterned hearts in the stamp set onto white cardstock with light gray ink. I stamped the “Sending Love” heart onto another panel of white cardstock with dark red ink, then cut it out with a die in the Large Die of the Month Kit. I love how these club kits work together every month!!

I trimmed the panel with the light gray hearts down on one side and adhered a black and white striped paper behind it on the left. I added a red and white polka dot ribbon and bow where the papers meet.

“Happy Valentine’s Day” was white heat embossed onto a strip of black cardstock. I popped the die-cut heart and sentiment strip up with foam adhesive. A sprinkling of red hearts finish off the card perfectly!!

That’s it!!I really love how this turned out!!
