Hello, crafty friends and happy Sunday!! I have two cards to share with you today featuring the June 2023 Small Die of the Month, along with the Embossing Folder Club Kit!!

I began by die-cutting the octopus and sign using the dies in the Small Die of the Month from Partly Cloudy, Cosmic Sky and tan cardstock. The boulders, coral and seaweed were cut from Fruit Punch, Fern, Rainforest, coral & tan cardstock using dies from the June Large Die of the Month Kit. The ocean floor was hand cut and then it was blended with Distress Oxide Inks, along with the boulders, to add dimension. They were splattered with diluted inks for a bit of texture.

The background was embossed onto Glacier cardstock with the June Embossing Folder of the Month. All of the die-cuts were adhered as shown, adding a foam dot to the center of the bottom layer of the octopus to allow the legs to swing.

The sentiment, from the June Clear Stamp & Die of the Month, was white heat embossed onto Cosmic Sky cardstock and cut out with the coordinating die. It was popped up with foam tape. I added lots of clear iridescent bubbles and some iridescent Stickles to the octopus to finish it off.

My second card uses the little jellyfish from the same Small Die of the Month…

I pulled scraps of cardstock and die-cut the jellyfish using dies in the June Small Die of the Month Kit.

The background was embossed onto Glacier cardstock with the June Embossing Folder, trimmed slightly and adhered to an A2 white card base. The jellyfish were adhered by placing a small foam dot in the hole on the bottom layer and adhering the top layer to the foam dot.

The sentiment, from the June Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Kit, was what heat embossed onto Onyx cardstock, cut out with the coordinating die, then popped up with foam tape. I finished off the card by adding some clear iridescent bubble and some iridescent Stickles to the jellyfish.
