Hello friends!! Happy Sunday!! I hope you are having a great weekend. I’m dropping in to show you some cards that I created with the Spellbinders June Card Kit!!
This kit is soooo happy!! I just love the colors!! There is enough to make AT LEAST ten cards and everything you need comes in the kit…even the adhesive!!
For my first card, I used the stamp set and paper pad…
I stamped the images from the stamp set onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored them with Copics and fussy cut them out. I also white heat embossed a couple of sentiments from the stamp set onto black cardstock and cut them out.
A couple of pieces of paper from the paper pad were cut down and adhered to a panel of light blue cardstock. I trimmed a strip of gold foil paper and added it where the two papers met. The journaling card was popped up with foam adhesive, as were the stamped images and sentiments. I added a few sequins and called it done!!
My next card was created mostly using the die-cut pack…
I began by trimming a piece of patterned paper from the paper pad to slightly smaller than A2. Then I trimmed off the bottom portion of the paper, along the edge of the metallic gold. I adhered a panel cut from the gold metallic printed foil vellum to a panel of pink cardstock and adhered the patterned paper to it.
All of the elements are from the die-cut pack. There are so many fun shapes to choose from in this pack!! I just layered them on with foam adhesive. I did add a little Mustard Seed Distress Oxide to the round die-cut to make it look more like a sun. A few gold sequins were scattered around and added to the “O”s in “HOORAY”.
There are some super cute dies included in the kit!! I can’t wait to try out the heart shaped sunglasses!! For my final card, I used the balloon animal to make a fun birthday card!
I die-cut the balloon animal and the “Oh Joy” sentiment from the gold foil cardstock. I adhered all of the die-cut pieces to the main part of the balloon animal. It is so adorable!! I trimmed down a piece of paper from the paper pad and matted it with a panel of gold foil cardstock.
“Happy” is from the die-cut pack and I trimmed one of the stickers for the “birthday” portion of the greeting. The balloon was popped up with foam adhesive and some sequins were added for even more shine!! This one was a little difficult to photograph, but you can see how much it shines in the next pic!!
