Hello, friends and happy Saturday!!!
I have a card to share with you today featuring the March Die of the Month Kit, “Floating Bunny”, from Spellbinders!!! This set is so adorable!! There are cloud and balloon dies that you can “swing” your bunny from and it actually swings!! I decided to make the clouds into part of a tree!!
I began by die-cutting the bunny in the March Die of the Month Kit from white and pink cardstock. I adhered the bunny together and placed black cardstock behind his eyes. The swing was die-cut from kraft cardstock. The clouds were die-cut from green cardstock and I stippled on some leaves with Copic markers.
For the background, I stenciled some clouds onto white cardstock with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and a blending brush. The swinging mechanism was added to the swing and the tree was adhered over it, placing foam adhesive only on the outer edges.
The sentiment dies are also included in the kit. It was cut from pink cardstock once and white cardstock three times. It was stacked and adhered together, then added to the right side of the card.
I also die-cut some tiny flowers and leaves from pink and green cardstock using dies from the Glimmer Edge Butterflies Set. I added some yellow baubles to the centers of the flowers and I was finished!
Isn’t this just darling? I love how he swings back and forth across the card!!
