Hello, crafty friends and happy Friday!! I hope you had a great week!!
I have a card to share with you today featuring the March Embossing Folder of the Month from Spellbinders!!
I began by running the embossing folder through my Platinum 6 with a panel of white cardstock. I actually used the back side in which the design is debossed into the cardstock. I trimmed it slightly smaller than A2 and adhered it to a panel of pinkish-red cardstock.
I stamped the adorable gnome and balloon from the March Clear Stamp and Die of the Month onto white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. The sentiment was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, then I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them all out! I also die-cut three more of each die from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the colored ones for dimension, then adhered them to the front of the card.
I added some tiny yellow clay flower embellishments with pink baubles in the centers to mimic the tiny flower on the gnome’s shirt. I added some highlights with a white gel pen and I was finished!!
If you love adding texture to your cards like I do, the Embossing Folder of the Month Kit may be perfect for you!!
