Hello, crafty friends and happy Sunday!! It’s time to “spring forward” and set our clocks ahead an hour. Although I really enjoy having an extra hour of daylight in the evenings, it usually takes me a while to adjust to losing an hour. Lol!

I have one more card to share with you using the March 2023 Club Kits from Spellbinders. Today’s card features the March Embossing Folder of the Month, “Stylized Calla Lily”, along with stamps and dies from the March 2023 Clear Stamp and Die of the Month!!

I began by blending Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of white cardstock with blending brushes. I used Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon, Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Picked Raspberry. Once it was dry I ran the panel through my Platinum 6 inside the March 2023 Embossing Folder. The panel was trimmed slightly and adhered to an A2 white top-folding card base.

The butterflies from the March 2023 Clear Stamp and Die of the Month were stamped onto white cardstock with the same inks as the background, blending the transitions with foam daubers where the colors meet. They were cut out with the included dies and adhered to the background panel. The bodies were adhered with liquid glue and the wings were popped up with foam tape.

The sentiment, also from the March 2023 Clear Stamp and Die of the Month, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, then cut out with its coordinating die. It was also adhered with foam adhesive. Lastly, I added a bit of sparkle to the centers of the flowers with a sparkle pen.
