Happy weekend!! I have a card to share with you today featuring the May 2022 Clear Stamp and Die of the Month, “Stitched Color Wheel”, from Spellbinders!!

This set contains a a fun octagon shape that can be stamped or stitched, plus some embroidery floss bobbins and a few tiny sentiments. I combined it with the new May Embossing Folder of the Month on my card today.

I began by stamping the images from the May Stamp of the Month onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly ink. I colored them with Copics markers, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. The color wheel was die-cut from white cardstock and I stitched it with embroidery floss to match my colored bobbins. I stamped one of the sentiments onto the pink bobbin and the other onto white cardstock with black ink and die-cut the second one.

Next, I embossed a panel of white cardstock with the May Embossing Folder of the Month and trimmed it slightly smaller than A2. I adhered it to a panel of pink cardstock with the debossed side up, then to a white, top-folding card base.

The stitched octagon and bobbins were adhered with liquid glue and the die-cut sentiment was popped up with foam tape.
