Hello everyone!! Happy Saturday!! How is your weekend going? Good, I hope!!
I received the Spellbinders May Card Kit of the Month right before I left on vacation last week! Well, we went to work on our lake house, so it wasn’t a true “vacation”. Anyway, I grabbed the kit and took it with me! The only thing I did before I left was die-cut some of the flowers and leaves with the included die from some cardstock that I had laying on my desk. I forgot to grab and ink pad, so these were created without the stamp set that is included in the kit. (Which is super cute, by the way!)
Everything you need is included in the box…even the adhesive, foam squares, note cards and envelopes!!
This card was created using patterned paper, pre-printed die-cuts, butterfly stickers and sequins.
I love how well everything coordinates!!
My second card uses those die-cuts that I cut out before I left…
There is a sheet of metallic copper cardstock that is so pretty!!
It matched the metallic stripes in the striped paper perfectly!!
Here is a look at my final card…
Here, I layered a journaling card on top of the patterned paper. I added pre-printed die-cuts and stickers under and on top of the card, popping some of them up with foam squares for dimension.
These little slide chipboard pieces are so awesome!
Now that we’re back home, I can’t wait to dig into the rest of the kit!! There are soooo many goodies included is these kits!!
