Hello, friends and happy Sunday!!! I hope you are enjoying your weekend!!

I have a card to share with you today featuring the October Small Die of the Month Kit from Spellbinders!!! I’m always a sucker for a vintage truck, so I was super-excited to see this month’s kit!! In fact, it may be my favorite Small Die of the Month Kit yet!!

I began by die-cutting all of the components from light blue, blue, brown, red, dark gray, light green, dark green, frosted silver, aqua glitter, red glitter and white cardstock using the October Small Die of the Month Kit.

For the background, I splattered diluted white gouache onto a panel of teal cardstock to resemble snow. I hand cut white glitter cardstock to create the snow on the ground and adhered it to the bottom, once the gouache was dry. I added a small piece of vellum behind the window of the truck and adhered all of the die-cuts to the background panel, as shown.

The sentiment, from the October Stamp of the Month, was stamped onto white cardstock. “Sending” was cut out with the coordinating die and “Christmas cheer” was trimmed into a narrow strip, then adhered to the upper left area of the card. I added snowy details to the trees with a sparkle gel pen and some dots of silver Nuvo drops to the wooden bed rails of the truck.

That’s it!! I really love how this came together!! Stay tuned…I use the same set on tomorrow’s card for a totally different season!!
