Hello, fellow crafters!!
I have a couple of cards to share with you today featuring the Pie Perfection Collection from Spellbinders!! These dies are perfect for so many occasions!! My dad loves apple pie and one of my husband’s favorites is cheesecake, so those are the treats that I went with, but they can be customized so easily for your recipient!!
I began by die-cutting the Perfect Pies Etched Dies from white cardstock and coloring them with Copic markers. I colored mine like an apple pie but there are so many options!! I added some crystal glaze to “filling” die-cut and once that I was dry, I adhered all of the die-cuts together to create my pie.
For the background, I stamped a buffalo plaid background stamp onto white cardstock with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink. I trimmed the panel slightly smaller than A2 and adhered it to a red cardstock panel, then a white, top-folding card base.
I die-cut the largest circle in the Essential Circles Die Set from white cardstock and die-cut the stitched edging into the die-cut with a die from the same set. The sentiment was stamped onto the circle with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink. I popped the circle up onto the front of the card with foam tape and trimmed off the excess from the right edge. The pie was adhered with more foam tape and I added some red heart embellishments to finish it off.
I started my second card the same way as my first, by die-cutting all of the components from white cardstock using the Serve A Slice Die Set.
I also colored those with Copics and added crystal glaze to the cherry topping and cherry. Once the glaze was dry, I assembled the cheesecake.
The rest of the card was created in the same was as the first one, only using different background and sentiment stamps.
Doesn’t that cheesecake look good enough to eat?

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you soon!!
