Hello, friends!!! I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!!

I have a card to share with you today featuring the September Small Die of the Month Kit, “Stitched Fall Leaves”, from Spellbinders!!! This kit includes several stitched leaves, along with the outline dies and a couple of sentiment dies!!

I began by die-cutting the stitched leaves from Bristol smooth cardstock using the September Small Die of the Month Kit. I colored them with Karin Brushmarker Pro markers then spritzed them with water and allowed the colors to mix. Once they were completely dry, I stitched them with 3 strands of metallic gold embroidery thread. The outline layers were cut from brushed gold cardstock and the stitched ones were attached to the matching die-cut with liquid glue.

For the background, I used the September 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month with a panel of white cardstock. I trimmed it slightly, added it to an A2 panel of brushed gold cardstock, then adhered it to an A2 white top-folding card base. The leaves were arranged and adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment was die-cut from brushed gold and white cardstock with dies included in the September Small Die of the Month. I also cut three more layers of the bottom layer from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the top one for dimension, then adhered them to the center of the card.

I really love the metallic gold stitching and the brushed gold cardstock combined with these bright colored leaves!!
