Hello everyone!! I’m popping in this morning with a few cards from the September Card Kit of the Month from Spellbinders!! I know that I say this every month, but this kit has so much value!! I love that it comes with EVERYTHING to make at least 10 cards!! Here are the three that I’ve made so far this month…
I usually start by pulling my favorite patterned papers from the paper pack and then matching up coordinating elements from the stickers, die-cuts and gems.
I LOVE the patterned paper on my first card…
It was as easy as trimming the paper, adhering the die-cuts and gems.
Love the sentiment on the message board!
My second card was also pretty simple to create…
I combined two patterned papers, some pre-printed die-cuts, chipboard stickers and gems.
I added foam adhesive (also included) to add lots of dimension!!
My third card was the most involved, but still pretty easy to make…
My brother recently lost one of his pups, so when I saw the dog themed papers and embellishments, I chose to combine those for a card for his family.
I just love this die-cut message board and the letters to add any message that you want! I love the letters cut from the gold cardstock!!

Thank you for sharing your process. Sometimes when opening the kit and first seeing the amount of stamps and dies and papers and and ephemera and, and, and… it can be overwhelming! It’s funny that just that ONE sentence from you made it click in my head. Of COURSE, choose the paper first and the rest will fall in place. I have had my kit for weeks and have done nothing. Maybe next weekend (since this one is almost over and I rarely have time to craft during the week (sad face)) I’ll pull out my kit and try again! I love your cards! The one with the truck is my favorite, I am partial to sprays of flowers. Sympathy to your brother on the loss of his pup. I know how hard that is.
