I recently had the privilege of working with the Shapeabilities – Floral Oval Etched Dies Special Moments Collection by Marisa Job from Spellbinders. I LOVE this line!!

It was really difficult to capture all of the shimmer and glitter on this card…

Here’s what I did…

I began by adding a few colors of alcohol ink onto Yupo paper with blending solution. After the paper was dry, I cut the vines and flowers from it. The intricate oval was cut from silver glitter paper and adhered to the center of a pale gray cardstock panel that was trimmed slightly on the top and bottom. The vine was adhered onto the oval, while the flowers were popped up with tiny bits of foam adhesive. The sentiment is from wPlus9’s Kind Soul set, and is embossed in silver on a strip of purple cardstock that was trimmed into a banner. The sentiment banner was also popped up with dimensional adhesive. After applying some silver glitter tape to the top and bottom of an A2 card base, the gray panel was adhered. The final touch was a bit of Silver Stickles in the center of each flower.
