Hello crafty friends!! I hope you are having a great week!! I’m taking a short break from the autumn themed cards today!! (Don’t worry, I’ll be back to that next week…LOL!)
I have a set of cards to share with you for Honey Bee today that feature some of the sports images from the Hope the Hedgehog stamp set. While I think that Hope is absolutely darling, this idea came to me while looking at the Cheering For You sentiment set and doesn’t include Hope at all!
I began by stamping the sports images from Hope the Hedgehog onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink, coloring them with Copics and cutting them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts.
All of the greetings, from Cheering For You, were white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Cheering For You Honey Cuts.
The backgrounds were cut from white cardstock using the Sunburst A2 Coverplate Honey Cut and layered over colored cardstock to match the Copic colored sports images.
Several of the Stacking Stars Honey Cuts were used to cut the stars from Silver Screen glitter cardstock. The largest star was added with foam adhesive to the circle on the background.
The sports images, greeting and smaller stars were also adhered with foam tape. That’s it…easy peasy!! However, the graphic design along with the sparkle from the glitter paper makes these cards super eye-catching!!
I hope that I’ve inspired you to take a look at the smaller, supporting images in your stamp sets!!
Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon!!!
